When you arrive for your appointment, please register at the front desk. Always tell our receptionist of any changes to your address, phone number, email, insurance, marital status, emergency contact, etc. that may have taken place since your last visit. Please have your insurance card with you at each appointment, so The Group for Women receptionist can verify the information when you first check in for your appointment. This will help us better take care of you.
The fee you are charged is based on the services you receive. If you are covered by an insurance carrier that The Group for Women accepts, you are responsible for your deductible, and you are responsible for your insurance copayment at the time of each visit. If you have insurance coverage with a carrier that the practice does not accept or you are not covered by health insurance, total payment is due at the time of each visit.
For your convenience, payments can be made by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. If you are experiencing financial problems, please be sure to contact our business office (757) 466-6388. They will be happy to discuss payment arrangements with you.
There are many types of insurance plans available. It is more important than ever to familiarize yourself with your insurance policy and follow all requirements as set up by your insurance company. The use of participating physicians, referrals, authorization, etc. may be required. Please assist us in serving you by following your insurance company’s guidelines.
